Stephen Lewis

Stephen received his Master of Music/Choral Conducting Degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock Texas where he was a Graduate Choral Assistant and Assistant Conductor.  He also sang in various University choirs and was the Choir Director at Westmont Christian Church.  Next, he received a Master of Business Administration in International Business from the University of Kansas and came to Albuquerque to begin a successful career in banking and finance.

Here in Albuquerque, Stephen has been the Choir Director and managed the choral department at St Pius X High School, directed the featured choir in Carnegie Hall in 2011, has taught private voice lessons and all of his choirs have received Superior rankings in choral competitions!

Stephen also performs as a baritone soloist and chorister with the Cathedral of St John Choir and Polyphony: Voices of New Mexico and has had various freelance performances with Opera Southwest, Quintessence and The Albuquerque Youth Symphony among others.  Stephen is also active in the music community serving on the board of The New Mexico Symphonic Chorus as the Governance Committee Chair…. Martha Dalager

Martha Dalager is on the Piano Faculty of the University of New Mexico.  She has performed with Music with the Maestro concerts with members of the New Mexico Symphony, Chamber Magic at the Kimo Theatre, Pro Musica in Santa Fe, Santa Fe Opera Mosaics and on the Roswell Chamber Series.

 

Martha has accompanied hundreds of singers and instrumentalists, professional and amateur throughout her years in Albuquerque.  She is a treasured choral accompanist for the New Mexico Symphonic Chorus, University Chorus at UNM, New Mexico Symphonic Youth Chorus, De Profundis and now the New Mexico Peace Choir.  She is the staff accompanist for the Vocal Artistry Art Song Festival, of which she is a founding board member.

 

She has twin sons, John and Paul.  John is a Cadet at the Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut studying Cyber Security.  He loves to travel and is an avid runner.  Paul is an EMT and a Certified Flight Instructor currently living in Albuquerque.  He recently completed his Associate’s Degree in Aviation from Eastern New Mexico University in Roswell.
